Louisburg
Square Romance

From the studio.

This arrangement captures the quiet, old-money romance of Boston's most storied square. It's built full and dense from the very center outward, favoring rich abundance over sparse minimalism.

Deep crimson garden roses form the bold, saturated core of the design. Around them, clouds of blush pink spray roses and the soft, ruffled faces of pink oriental lilies open in stages over several days, filling the room with fragrance. Sprays of pastel pink matthiola add texture and lift, while silver dollar eucalyptus trails softly at the edges for a fresh, garden feel. The whole design is gathered by hand and wrapped in natural kraft paper, ready to display right away or trim and place in water once you're home.

Botanical Insight

The large pink blooms opening throughout this arrangement are Lilium orientalis, better known as Oriental Lilies. They're cut and shipped in bud form so they open gradually over five to seven days, which means the arrangement actually looks better as the week goes on rather than fading. Each stem carries several buds at different stages, so new flowers keep opening even after the first ones are in full bloom. Once a lily fully opens, we recommend gently pinching off the orange stamens by hand. This is a simple trick florists use to prevent pollen stains on fabric or furniture, and it doesn't affect the flower's scent or how long it lasts.

Floral Shortlist

• Velvet Core: Deep crimson garden roses, hand-selected for a rich, saturated base
• Blush Clouds: Delicate pink spray roses adding softness throughout
• Fragrant Stars: Pink oriental lilies, cut in bud so they keep opening through the week
• Garden Lift: Pastel pink matthiola and silver dollar eucalyptus for natural movement

Bespoke Standard

We source fresh, live stems directly from premier flower auctions every morning. Since every bloom is naturally unique, small variations in the exact ratio of red to pink flowers, or the stage of lily bloom on arrival, can occur. What stays consistent is the arrangement's rich color depth, its full grand-scale volume, and its signature hand-tied kraft presentation.
